Climate Change Creative Writing
Assignment: Climate Change Creative Writing
Class: Humanities
Teacher: Mr. Adam
Assignment description: For this assignment, we had to write a story that involves the climate change issues we had discussed in class. We had to use keywords like sea level rise, biodiversity loss, and deforestation. We also had to reference a solution for the problem. It was a creative writing assignment so we had free reign, but we still had to follow our rubric. For my essay, I wrote about a supernatural dystopia world.
Skills: for this assignment, I developed my information skills and myself directional skills. I expanded my information skills because I had to figure out what the solutions were to some of the problems I discussed in my assignment and I expanded my directional skills because I had to write this all by myself.
Application: I could apply this to future learning by using this for reference of how I used to write. I’ve seen a lot of development and how I write things and I could always come back to this to remind me of my improvement.
